This online training session for Induction tutors/leads will provide focused training to guide them to support ECTs who are experiencing difficulties during their induction period.

The session will include:

  • Suggested steps to take

  • Action/support plans

  • What effective school support can look like when an ECT is not making satisfactory progress against the Teachers’ Standards.

  • What to do if progress remains unsatisfactory.

There will also be time to ask any questions you might have.

The session is free to all schools with ECTs registered with Teach West London Appropriate Body. You do not need to be currently supporting an ECT experiencing difficulties to be eligible for this training.
