How to register

To register your ECTs and their Mentors for the Teach West London UCL ECT Programme, you will need to:

Access the updated register early career teachers service portal.

​You do not need to take any action immediately unless:​

  • there are any new ECTs or mentors at your school​ for this term
  • you have any updates to existing ECTs or Mentors, e.g. they have left the school​

When you do need to use the updated service, you will need to have an account with DfE Sign-in. DfE Sign-in is a single sign-on service that provides access to DfE services. Your school might already use it for other DfE services. ​

Make sure to get set up with DfE Sign-in so you can promptly register any new ECTs or Mentors when registration opens for the 2026 academic year (from mid-June).
