This online training session for Induction tutors/leads will provide focused guidance for supporting ECTs who are at risk of not meeting the Teachers' Standards.

The session will cover:

  • Suggested steps to take
  • Action/support plans
  • What effective school support can look like for an ECT at risk of not meeting the Teachers' Standards
  • What to do if progress remains unsatisfactory

There will also be time to ask any questions you might have.

The session is free to all schools with ECTs registered with Teach West London Appropriate Body. You do not need to be currently supporting an ECT at risk of not meeting the Teachers' Standards​​ to be eligible for this training.
