Our unique selection process At Teach West London, we believe that choosing where to train as a teacher is a big decision – which is why our Selection Day is designed to give you a real insight into your chosen school and what it’s like to be part of our immersive training programme. Unlike many providers who conduct online interviews, we invite you to visit your chosen school in person. This experience allows you to: This face-to-face approach gives you the chance to make a fully informed decision about whether the school – and Teach West London – is the right fit for you. It’s a chance to challenge yourself, reflect on your teaching ambitions, and take your first steps towards a fulfilling career in the classroom. Recommendations for candidates To prepare effectively for the Selection day: Feedback: After your lesson, you’ll receive feedback. This feedback is a valuable part of your growth and will help you prepare for your training year. We'll also send you a feedback form so you can share your own experience. At Teach West London, we don’t just train teachers – we develop confident, classroom-ready professionals through our fully immersive, school-based training programme. From day one, you’ll be embedded in a school environment, learning alongside expert teachers in your chosen school community.
You will also be training at one of our two training centres, Ada Lovelace CofE High School or Ealing Fields High School, which are both part of the top-performing multi academy trust (MAT) in the country - Twyford CofE Academies Trust.
Throughout your training and beyond, you'll get comprehensive support to successfully train and thrive as a new teacher, with mentors, pastoral support (wellbeing) and access to a network of opportunities to develop throughout your career within the teaching school hub - from trainee through to school leader.
