School-based, fully immersive training

As a Teach West London trainee, you’ll choose the school and area where you want to train. With placements available across four West London boroughs, you’ll have the chance to learn in a community that matters to you, while making a difference to the lives of local children. View our placement schools here and our guide to choosing your placement school here.

Train with the best

One day each week, you’ll train at one of our centres within the top-performing multi academy trust (MAT) in the country - Twyford CofE Academies Trust. For the remaining four days, you’ll be in your placement school, learning from expert practitioners and applying your knowledge directly in the classroom. This blend of high-quality training and real-world practice ensures you’re ready to teach with confidence.

Support to succeed

We know that great teachers need great support. That’s why every trainee benefits from a dedicated mentor to guide your teaching practice, peer support from other trainees and pastoral and wellbeing support to help you thrive both personally and professionally. For secondary trainees, a Subject Lead will connect your training directly to your subject area.
